Luxury Car Promotion

Earlier this year, I had the privilege of serving as the lead graphic designer for one of our high-profile luxury campaigns. While these campaigns are typically initiated by the Creative Manager, the transition to a new Creative Manager presented an opportunity for me to take the lead.

The $326,000 Porsche Giveaway was a comprehensive project that required designing over thirty pieces of collateral, including essential assets for the grand finale display such as oversized cut-out keys, a giant check, custom backdrops, and more. Additionally, I was responsible for producing dynamic video promotions for both outdoor and indoor screens, ensuring seamless integration across all platforms.

Spadea Newspaper Spread

As a graphic designer, I specialize in print layout design. I honed my skills during my time at a local newspaper, where I designed spreads and ads for both print and digital publications. These skills seamlessly transitioned into my role as a corporate designer.

One notable project was designing an ad for the local newspaper to promote New Year’s Eve celebrations at three different casinos. I successfully organized complex event information and promotions, resulting in a design that earned a bronze award at the 2023 Addy Awards.

Luxury Cigar Lounge Menu

Menu design by graphic designer Jessica Mendoza

I had the pleasure of designing a menu for a luxurious cigar lounge. Their new VIP room called for a menu that matched its upscale ambiance. Inspired by the stunning blue river table and black and gold accents, I created a design that was both elegant and memorable. The menu’s logo and overall aesthetic were so well-received that they became a part of the venue’s branding, used in future events.

Scope of Work: Design a menu for upscale, exclusive dining event at cigar lounge.

Software Used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator

Cinco de Mayo / Fluffy Campaign

The Cinco de Mayo weekend celebration for Gabriel Iglesias’s 25th show at Agua Caliente’s “The Show” in Rancho Mirage was one of my favorite projects of the year. I created a cohesive brand experience across multiple touchpoints, including:
• Custom Menu Design: Enhanced the dining experience at Waters Cafe.
• Engaging Spin-the-Wheel Prize: Increased guest interaction and excitement.
• Eye-Catching Floor Stands: Directed foot traffic and amplified brand messaging.
• Dynamic Promotional Videos: Captured attention and generated buzz throughout the casino.
• A viral magazine ad that garnered significant social media attention and positive feedback from Gabriel Iglesias himself.

Scope of Work: Design the overarching Cinco de Mayo theme, incorporating the celebration of Gabriel Iglesias’ 25th show
Skills Required: Graphic Design, Video Design
Software Used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe AfterEffects

Cahuilla Ballroom Logo

As a graphic designer for Agua Caliente Resort Casinos, I was tasked with redesigning the logo and associated materials for the Cahuilla Ballroom, a prestigious 13,000-square-foot venue known for hosting A-list celebrities. I presented three design options, and the Palm Tree Pillar was ultimately chosen as the new logo.

In my first year, this logo design was recognized with a bronze Addy Award in the 2023 Addy Awards.

Email and Printed Newsletters

As a remote Marketing and Administration Specialist for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, I rebranded and restructured the organization to accommodate rapid growth.

I balanced the needs of two distinct audiences: older, traditional donors and younger, sports-oriented families. For donors, I designed print and digital marketing materials emphasizing the growth of Christian ministry through sports. For families, I created modern, competitive branding to attract athletes to sports clubs.

Print Advertising

A friend had recommended me as a graphic designer to a small print shop in town. The shop was attached to the only local newspaper who had an opening for a graphic designer. For the first time ever, I’d be doing graphics full-time.

I learned so much working for both a newspaper and print shop. Ad creation was one of my favorite tasks, and I thoroughly enjoyed handling multiple creative projects and meeting them on deadline.
